Australia's dirtiest new fossil fuel project must be rejected
We are at a tipping point where we can choose to embrace the economic opportunities and job growth that will come with a rapid transition to renewable energy. Instead, Woodside wants to lock WA into another 50 years of pollution.
We cannot continue to stagnate on renewable energy developments when we have some of the world's richest sources of renewable energy. WA’s gas industry is our state’s smallest employer and the corporations involved pay little or no tax or royalties. If the $50 billion were invested in renewable energy instead it would create around 27 000 new direct jobs, which is nearly six times more than the short-term construction jobs created by the Burrup Hub.
Help us to inform the EPA that this project does not have the support of the WA community.
