Reject Woodside's dangerous new gas projects
We need your help to reject Australia's biggest and most polluting fossil fuel project from being built right off the coast of our beautiful North West!
Woodside’s proposed Browse/Burrup hub projects will produce pollution that is equivalent to 24 coal-fired power stations every year until 2070 making it Australia’s largest and dirtiest fossil fuel project. The size and scale of climate damage are truly shocking and several times larger than the estimated carbon emissions of the proposed Adani Carmichael mine in Queensland.
Right now, the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is assessing the proposals for Woodside’s Browse/Burrup hub projects and this is an important opportunity to call on the EPA to reject the project plans.
If Western Australia is to meet its policy goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, we cannot afford to expand our LNG industry. Instead, Western Australia must immediately reduce its emissions through the creation of clean jobs and investment in renewable technologies.
Let the EPA know that you want a future with clean, renewable industries not more polluting fossil fuel projects.
Together, we can create a cleaner, brighter future for all of us.
